Under The Hood Of The Tatra 815-2

We went by the workshop today to do some cleaning and organizing of equipment in the Tatra.

We didn’t have the camera with us, but since the cabin was tilted, we took advantage of the opportunity to get a picture of the V12 T3 930-54 engine with the iPhone.

We had the engine serviced at the Tatra Service Center in Kopřivnice just before Christmas, and we asked them to check and adjust the injection system. The engine now seems to be running more smoothly and we’ve experienced a noticeable increase in power.

Starting The Year Off Right

Happy New Year to all our readers and visitors!

To start the year off, we’ve done a little housekeeping, updating the About Page and adding a new page with the Technical Specs for our Tatra 815-2 Dakar.

Since we didn’t get a chance to visit North Africa again last year, things have been rather slow and this update is long overdue. As we work on plans for the coming year, we’re also hoping to finish some of our unpublished posts with photos and videos from last year.

We’re closely following the Africa Eco Race and the Dakar 2012, which is great for motivation!
